OnePlus 3
With a whopping 6GB of RAM, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, 64GB native storage and a 5.5-inch AMOLED display, the OnePlus 3 is an incredibly well-heeled smartphone. It also comes with fairly decent battery life, the goodness of Android Marshmallow and a solid metal build that even looks good. To top it all, the OnePlus 3 is significantly less expensive than its flagship compatriots, and delivers excellent value for money at Rs. 29,999. If multitasking is your top priority with a bit of everything thrown into the mix, the OnePlus 3 is the best bet for you.
Samsung Galaxy S7
Samsung's Galaxy S7 lineup has been critically acclaimed for delivering excellent performance along with the assurance of an established brand. Naturally, it had to feature among the best of this list. The Galaxy S7 offers a 12MP Dual-Pixel camera to ace low light photography, Exynos 8890 SoC, 4GB RAM, and a smaller 2K display means battery life is better than its larger, dual-edge variant, the Galaxy S7 Edge. The Samsung Galaxy S7 delivers the better value among the two, but if style is an integral part of your life, the S7 Edge can also be an equally good smartphone to buy.
LG G5
The first truly modular smartphone, the LG G5 was hailed for its innovative dual-camera mechanism. However, it was equally adept at delivering good performance, thanks to the Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4GB of RAM. It also features one of the best display panels in today's smartphone market, and although the modular bit has been debated in terms of viability, the G5 remains one of the best multitasking smartphones in India.
HTC 10
HTC's present generation flagship focusses on giving you praiseworthy build quality, along with a great camera module and the best audio from smartphones available today (save the Marshall London, of course). HTC has truly played to its strengths with the HTC 10, and to complement all this, powered the entire unit with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4GB of RAM. If you are looking for a premium, flagship smartphone, the HTC 10 is sure to please you.
LeEco Le Max2
LeEco's Le Max2 is the only smartphone apart from the OnePlus 3 to sell with 6GB of RAM in India. It is seamless in terms of performance and multitasking, but the optimisation of its software does not feel as seamless as the above-mentioned smartphones. You will also need to be a fan of very large smartphones to love the Le Max2, and the camera, despite being good, is not as good as the ones ranked above in this list. For fans of large screen smartphones, the LeEco Le Max2 is the only latest generation smartphone to offer 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, giving it a unique edge among smartphones here.
