How to prevent your computer from overheating

One of the main thing we always overlook is cooling. Now when every component of your computer is improving in performance,so is the heating.Ocassional heating does not affect much to your components but while running your computer for long periods of time affects the Integrated Circuits which leads to the crashes.

Here are some easy ways to keep your computer cool:
First step is clean your computer.Dust increases heating because it reduces heat dissipation. They clog up the fans and clogged fan do a very bad job of cooling.
Move you computer to area where it can get enough cool air to cool itself.

If you want to spend some money on cooling your expensive components here are some solutions:-

1)Low End-The simplest way is to use some case fans to cool your computer. They are dirt cheap and provide effective cooling at price.Important thing is positioning. One can use them in two ways either blowing cold air on heated parts or blowing out heated air.In my recommendation use one to blow air in and one to blow it out.Buy bigger fans as it would allow for more cooling.Do not allow the air to stagnate inside the cabinet.Laptop users can use laptop cooling pad to dissipate the heat.

2)Mid End-All CPUs and GPUs ship with a stock cooler which are not sufficient. One can buy custom CPU,GPU,HDD cooler. They have better heatsink and provide better cooling. This are must for enthusiasts and overclockers.

3)High end-One can invest in water cooling setup. They are one of the excellent cooling solutions present in market. They are ideal for power hungry mammoth rigs replete with overclocked hexa core processors, graphics card in sli/crossfire,hard disks in raid configuration.
